Stay and Play
Monday's Stay & Play will not be running for the near future.
Our Stay and Play sessions are focused on supporting Parents/Carers and their young children. A variety of activities are provided to help each child fulfil their full potential within a warm and stimulating environment. These activities are laid out based on the Early Years Foundation Stage and include sand and water play, Easel and paint, a variety of Role Play equipment.Throughout these sessions we hope to establish strong links with parents to ensure a mutual understanding of the child’s needs and to enable the parent to work in confidence of their child’s welfare.
Stay and Play sessions run three times a week during term time, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 10:00 – 12:00.
During school holidays the sessions will only run on Mondays and Fridays.
On the 1st Friday of each month we will sometimes hold a ‘messy’ Stay and Play. Throughout this session a wide variety of creative activities will be on offer for you and your child to explore. Activities include cornflour, body painting and jelly and custard!
Baby Signing

A six week course that enables babies from as young as six months to communicate their needs effectively.
At 24 months, signing babies were found to talk on average more like 27-28 month olds. This represents more than a three month advantage over the non-signing babies.
At 36 months, the signing babies on average were talking like 47 month olds, putting them almost a full year ahead of the non-signing babies.
By the age of eight, children who had an average IQ of 114 compared to an IQ of 102 for those that didn't.
Limited spaces are available and we will require full payment to secure a space. We are only charging £10 to cover our costs for all six weeks, but if you can make an extra donation we will be very grateful. At the end of the course you will receive a CD with all the fun songs that we use to help teach the children.
Please contact Kelly for next available dates or if you require any more information.
